Support

A little support, in all the right places

A pessary is a removable, soft silicone device worn inside the vagina to support the vaginal space, a bit like a sports bra for your pelvic floor. They come in many shapes and sizes to suit your individual anatomy, symptoms and needs.

Pessaries can help manage symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse, such as bulging or heaviness, and symptoms of stress urinary incontinence, such as leakage with coughing, straining, sneezing, laughing or exercise.

How To Get Fitted

Two simple steps to your fitting

Before your fitting, your family doctor completes the Physician Pessary Referral Form, confirming it's safe for you to be fitted and that your vaginal tissues are healthy enough. The completed form can be faxed directly to us at 403-930-3546.

Your doctor may also prescribe vaginal estrogen to support tissue health. If so, it's recommended for 6 weeks before your fitting appointment.

02

Book your fitting

Once your doctor's form is complete, schedule your pessary fitting appointment. Call us at 403-690-2221, or book a Pessary Fitting Assessment online whenever suits you.
